Pig price today September 7, 2024: Slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg in the Northern region, unchanged in the Central - Central Highlands and Southern regions.
Pig price in the North
In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today increased slightly by 1,000 VND in some localities and traded in the range of 64,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in Hanoi are purchasing live pigs at 67,000 VND/kg; this is recorded as the highest price in the region.
On the other hand, traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg; this is the lowest price in the region.
After increasing the price, traders in Phu Tho are buying live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg; equal to the price in Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, and Vinh Phuc.
Also increasing in price, traders in Lao Cai are purchasing live pigs at 65,000 VND/kg; equal to the price in Yen Bai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, and Tuyen Quang.
Pig price in Central Highlands
In this area, the price of live pigs today is moving sideways within a wide range and fluctuates between 62,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Ninh Thuan are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND; this is the lowest price in the region.
On the other hand, traders in Thanh Hoa are purchasing live pigs at 65,000 VND/kg; this is the highest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 63,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the South
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today remains stable in all localities and fluctuates between 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in the provinces of Ben Tre, Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, and Tra Vinh are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg; this is the lowest price in the region.
On the other hand, traders in Vung Tau, Binh Duong, An Giang, Can Tho, and Ca Mau are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg; this is the highest selling price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded the price of live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg.
