Opening of the thematic exhibition 'Red Seeds'
On the afternoon of September 10th, at the Soviet-Nghe Tinh Museum, the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the National Museum of History, inaugurated the thematic exhibition "Red Seeds".

Attending the opening ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives from the National Historical Museum; and representatives from the leadership of various departments, agencies, and organizations of Nghe An province.

The thematic exhibition "Red Seeds" is one of the activities celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd; and the 94th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Uprising (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2024).

Nearly 150 valuable images and documents (currently preserved at the National Museum of History, the Archives Department of the Central Party Office, the French National Archives Center, the Professional Records Department of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Museum of Revolutionary Soldiers Imprisoned by the Enemy) were featured in this exhibition.
The exhibition "Red Seeds" consists of 3 parts:
Part 1 - "The Nurturer of Red Seeds" introduces the role of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh in training and nurturing the red seeds for the Vietnamese revolution.
Part 2 - "Transforming Prisons into Revolutionary Schools" introduces images, works, and famous, spirited quotes of revolutionary fighters in imperialist prisons. Despite extremely harsh conditions of imprisonment and brutal torture, these communist fighters transformed prisons into revolutionary schools, secretly establishing Party branches, compiling political theory documents, organizing cultural and theoretical classes, and cultivating Marxist-Leninist ideology… making significant contributions to the later struggle for national independence.
Part 3 - “The Country in Renovation, Integration and Development” introduces some typical images of the country during the period of renovation, integration and development, as well as the outstanding achievements of the younger generation in recent years.

The leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that the thematic exhibition "Red Seeds" will contribute to disseminating information and helping a wide range of people, especially the younger generation in the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, to better understand the contributions of outstanding young people in the early years of the proletarian revolution in Vietnam. This will lead to a deeper understanding of the role of "red seeds" nurtured and cultivated by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh for the Vietnamese revolution.

Through this, we express our gratitude to the older generations who dedicated their intellect and lives to the struggle for national independence and reunification; contributing to the awakening of patriotism, pride in national history, and determination to study, train, and contribute to the cause of protecting and building the country.
