Song Lam Nghe An held a ceremony to launch the 2024/25 season
On the afternoon of September 12, in Vinh city, Song Lam Nghe An Club held a launching ceremony and introduced co-sponsors of the 2024/25 season.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports. Also attending were Mr. Truong Sy Ba - Chairman of Tan Long Group, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, Chairman of the club; Mr. Ho Le Duc - General Director and CEO of SLNA Club; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, and sectors at the provincial level.
Dramatic change
After a period of hardship and many changes,Lam River Nghe Anwelcome more co-sponsors and determined to make a strong comeback in the highest arena of Vietnamese football.
At the ceremony, the Club officially introduced new contracts such as striker Benjamin Kuku - Nigerian nationality and midfielder Sebastián Zaracho - Paraguayan nationality. The team also successfully retained striker Michael Olaha to have a satisfactory trio of foreign players for the new season 2024/25.
In the 2024/25 season, Song Lam Nghe An Club with a large force of young domestic players, coming from local training centers, will participate in two major arenas:V.Leagueand National Cup. Song Lam Nghe An Club introduced for the first time the new Technical Director, Mr. Hideaki Shoji. The architect born in 1970 from Japan will be the person to support the Board of Directors and coaches in building and implementing the Club's football philosophy and many other basic professional tasks.
At the Launching Ceremony, Song Lam Nghe An also launched the 2024/25 season jerseys under the Kamito brand with a very unique design.
Bring SLNA back to its rightful position
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Sy Ba - Chairman of Song Lam Nghe An Club affirmed: Song Lam Nghe An Club is honored and proud to always receive the attention and support of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, sponsors and especially the team's fans nationwide. That is the belief, source of great encouragement and support for the team before entering the tournament.
The President of SLNA Club emphasized: The 2024/25 season is the first season that SLNA implements a comprehensive Club renovation program towards sustainability and professionalism. In particular, Song Lam Nghe An will implement a football socialization strategy by cooperating with many sponsors.
Also this season, Song Lam Nghe An will cooperate with a number of Japanese clubs in youth training, sending U teams to train abroad, and applying professional club management models from advanced football backgrounds.
The Chairman of Song Lam Nghe An Club affirmed that he will bring SLNA back to its former position, while contributing to the overall development of Vietnamese football.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports emphasized: After a period of preparing domestic and foreign forces, testing tactical formations, the Song Lam Nghe An football team organized a departure ceremony to participate in the 2024/2025 national football championship. This is a meaningful event, creating great motivation for our team to improve its ranking position compared to last season. Especially this season, the team has many young players from the Song Lam training center and quality foreign players. In addition, the coaching staff are experienced people who will motivate the players to compete actively, try their best to succeed their seniors and add to the glorious tradition of Nghe An football.
