Hung Nguyen organizes a seminar on 555 years of the title (1469 - 2024)
On the afternoon of September 12, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Nguyen district held a discussion on 555 years of the name Hung Nguyen (1469 - 2024).
Attending the discussion were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Hung Nguyen district through the periods; key leaders of Hung Nguyen district and communes in the area.
Affirming the land of culture, "spiritual land of talented people"
At the discussion, the delegates' presentations clearly stated and highlighted the history with milestones and achievements in the 555-year historical journey since the name Hung Nguyen was established until now.
Hung Nguyen land has an important strategic geographical location.Event September 12, 1930shocked public opinion domestically and internationally, and was a shining milestone of the Soviet - Nghe Tinh movement.

The presentations at the seminar affirmed that the historical, revolutionary and cultural traditions have become a source of pride and motivation for generations of Hung Nguyen people to promote and join hands to build and develop their homeland. The results of completing the criteria for a new rural district have reflected the comprehensive development picture of Hung Nguyen.
Solidarity to bring Hung Nguyen sustainable development
Speaking at the discussion, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed the favorable geographical location along with a rich history, culture, and revolutionary tradition, "a land of talented people" and the spirit of solidarity, proactive innovation and creativity of generations of cadres and people of Hung Nguyen.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also hopes that the Party Committee, Government and People of Hung Nguyen will continue to promote the 555-year cultural and historical traditions of the heroic Soviet homeland, creating endogenous strength to help Hung Nguyen develop quickly and sustainably.
In the immediate future, focus on reviewing socio-economic, national defense-security, and Party building targets for the 2020-2025 term to have leadership and direction solutions, striving to achieve them at the highest level; at the same time, prepare to build targets and tasks for the new term with higher development.
Well implement the work of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2023-2025; arrange and organize staff, civil servants and facilities, creating convenience in handling administrative procedures for people.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that Hung Nguyen district continue to focus on education work, improving the quality of human resources for the locality, the province and the country.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also emphasized the favorable location of the connecting traffic system, near Vinh airport and seaport, and suggested that Hung Nguyen district continue to research and supplement the planning to build Hung Nguyen into a satellite city for Vinh city, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
That process builds solidarity within the Party and great national solidarity, creates combined strength, and brings Hung Nguyen homeland to increasingly sustainable development.
Before the discussion, delegates attending the event held a launching ceremony to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 and its aftermath, with a total donation of nearly 50 million VND.
Along with the resources mobilized at the seminar, in the past few days, in Hung Nguyen district, all levels, agencies and units have organized to call for the community's cooperation towards people in the northern provinces with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.
