Nghe An General Friendship Hospital donated 533 million VND to help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

Responding to the call of the Ministry of Health, Vietnam Medical Trade Union, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Nghe An Department of Health, on the morning of September 13, Nghe An General Hospital organized a fundraising launching ceremony to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of the board of directors, trade unions, and many doctors, nurses and workers of the hospital.

At the launching ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Huong - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Nghe An General Hospital informed about the damages caused by storm No. 3 and the storm's circulation to people in the northern provinces and cities.

The Director of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital has called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the hospital to promote the tradition of solidarity and the ethics of "mutual love and support", "the strong help the weak" to join hands to support people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

At the launching ceremony, hospital leaders, Trade Union, heads of departments, centers, doctors, nurses and hospital workers made donations to support people in the provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

The total amount of money the hospital donated and supported at the launching ceremony was 533 million VND.

This money will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to support and help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 and soon stabilize their lives.
