The Ngo family of Vietnam joins hands to preserve the tradition of "remembering the source of water" and sharing for the community.
At the solemn session of the 10th Congress of the Ngo Family in Vietnam, term 2024-2029, held on the morning of September 14, the Standing Committee of the Ngo Family Council in Vietnam presented 625,300,000 VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to share and encourage people who are severely affected by storm No. 3 and floods in the North. Attending the solemn session were comrades: Ngo Van Du, former member of the Politburo, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee; General Ngo Xuan Lich, former member of the Politburo, former Minister of National Defense; Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee; Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee; Ngo Van Cuong, Secretary of the Central Youth Union.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Labor Hero of the Renovation Period, Chairman of the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam Ngo Van Son emphasized that, promoting the tradition of the nation and the family, the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam has always been a united and proactive bloc, performing well the assigned tasks, and has always been a prestigious family that is evaluated and recognized. Many key tasks have been deployed on a large scale, synchronously, unitedly and operating "for a prosperous Ngo family".
During the last term, the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam has operated flexibly, bringing the family activities in depth, focusing on work efficiency. In particular, the Council actively organized activities towards ancestors, origins, preserving the tradition of "remembering the source when drinking water". Connecting within the family, promoting historical scientific research, especially on the origin of the family, continues to receive attention.
Descendants in the family actively participate and contribute to the task of building and protecting the country in all localities and in many areas of society; actively participate in contributing, volunteering, and helping the community.
At the Congress, delegates representing the Ngo family gave many presentations and contributed ideas to develop the Ngo family in Vietnam. The presentations were all aimed at strengthening clan connections and spreading clan strength, raising awareness of clan development and glorifying the cultural heritage passed down through generations of the Ngo family.
With the spirit of urgent work, the Congress elected 75 members of the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam, 32 Standing Members, and 12 Vice Chairmen of the Council.
Hero of Labor in the renovation period Ngo Van Son, Acting Chairman of the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam, term IX, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam, term X, 2024-2029.
Also at the Congress, many outstanding collectives and individuals were honored to receive Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
