Cong Phuong officially joins a first division team.
Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong has officially joined Binh Phuoc Club in the First Division.
On the evening of September 21st, Binh Phuoc Club announced the successful signing of striker Nguyen Cong Phuong.
"Cong Phuong is one of Binh Phuoc's most notable new signings for the 2024/25 season. He is a quality addition, giving coach Anh Duc more attacking options in the upcoming competitive season," Binh Phuoc Club announced.
According to our sources, Cong Phuong will join Binh Phuoc Club on a three-year contract. Details regarding the signing bonus and salary have not been disclosed by either party.
However, some sources say that Binh Phuoc Club did not have to pay Cong Phuong a signing bonus of up to 8 billion VND/year as initially rumored.

Thus, after four unsuccessful stints abroad, Cong Phuong decided to dedicate the remainder of his career to playing in the domestic league. With significant investment in its squad, Cong Phuong's team is one of the contenders for promotion to the V-League next season.
After making his debut for the team, Cong Phuong spent nearly a month training and preparing for the 2024/25 First Division season, which will take place in mid-October.
