Cong Phuong officially plays for a first division team
Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong officially joined Binh Phuoc Club in the First Division.
On the evening of September 21, Binh Phuoc Club announced the successful recruitment of striker Nguyen Cong Phuong.
"Cong Phuong is one of Binh Phuoc's most notable new recruits in the 2024/25 season. He is a quality addition, helping coach Anh Duc have more attacking options in the upcoming competitive season," Binh Phuoc Club announced.
According to the investigation, Cong Phuong will join Binh Phuoc Club with a 3-year contract. Regarding the signing fee and salary, the terms were not disclosed in detail by the parties.
But some sources said that Binh Phuoc Club did not have to pay a signing bonus of up to 8 billion VND/year for Cong Phuong as initially rumored.

Thus, after 4 unsuccessful trips abroad, Cong Phuong decided to spend the rest of his career playing in the domestic league. With strong investment in personnel, Cong Phuong's team is one of the candidates for promotion to V-League next season.
After debuting for the team, Cong Phuong has nearly 1 month to practice, preparing for the 2024/25 First Division tournament taking place in mid-October.
