September 22, 1912:Date of birth Poet Han Mac Tu also known as Nguyen Trong Tri. He was born in Le My, Dong Hoi town, Quang Binh province. From 1930, 1931 he wrote poetry and began to become famous. His excellent poetry collections are "Country Girl", "Han Mac Tu Poetry". He died on November 11, 1940 at the age of 28.

From September 22-29, 1985:The first National Sports Congress in Hanoi. There were 1,250 officials, athletes, coaches, and referees attending the Congress. Congress results: 27 delegations received 125 sets of medals of various types, and set 19 new national records in athletics, swimming, and shooting.
