Strengthening propaganda to ensure order and traffic safety for students
On the morning of September 23, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with relevant units to organize a program to propagate laws on traffic safety and order in 2024 for teachers and students at High School 1-5 (Nghia Dan).

Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee said: In recent times, thanks to the drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions, the order situationtraffic safetyon the basic area is still maintained.
However, students’ awareness of obeying traffic safety laws is still limited. In the first 8 months of the year alone, there were 16 traffic accidents involving students, killing 8 people and injuring 13 others.

One of the reasons for the above situation is that the propaganda and education of traffic laws among school-age children has not received due attention. Accordingly, cases of students violating traffic safety order are still common, with some main violations such as: Not wearing a helmet when riding a motorbike, scooter, electric bicycle; violating speed regulations; not being old enough to drive a vehicle; not having a driver's license...
The Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee emphasized that disseminating laws to school-age children is one of the top priorities, both urgent and of long-term strategic significance in ensuring traffic order and safety.
Therefore, along with strengthening patrolling and controlling, promptly detecting and strictly handling violations by traffic police, schools need to continue to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of legal knowledge on traffic safety and order, and traffic participation skills for students in appropriate forms and measures, in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-absorb manner.
Each student should increase awareness and self-consciousness in complying with legal regulations on traffic safety and order; regularly practice vehicle control skills, always remember the message "Respecting the law to build a culture of safe traffic"...

At the program, students listened to representatives of the Traffic Police Team of Nghia Dan District Police propagate legal regulations on traffic order and safety, how to prevent causes of accidents as well as violations of the law. Students were also instructed on safe driving skills for motorbikes and electric motorbikes...

The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee also coordinated with relevant units to present traffic safety propaganda materials to the school, helmets and many other gifts to the students.
