Tuong Duong district police have just arrested 3 subjects for illegal drug trafficking and seized 3,400 synthetic drug pills.
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Tuong Duong District Police discovered a number of subjects outside the district going to the border area of Tuong Duong district to buy drugs.drugon consumption. During their activities, the subjects often carry weapons and are ready to fight back against the authorities if discovered or arrested.
With the determination to keep the area clean, prevent drugs from being smuggled in from outside, after many days of persistent monitoring, grasping all movements, and synchronously using professional measures, at 3:18 a.m. on September 18, at Pot village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district police mobilized forces and vehicles to coordinate with the police of the communes: Huu Khuong, Nga My, Yen Hoa, Xieng My to catch two subjects Huynh Van Phuong (born in 1993) and Le Van Quyen (born in 1995), both residing in Dien Chau district, when the subjects had just moved out of the district by motorbike. At the scene, the authorities seized 3,400 synthetic drug pills, 2 knives, and 2 motorbikes.
During the investigation, Tuong Duong District Police verified and arrested Ngan Thi Phom (born 1972), residing in Luong Minh Commune, Tuong Duong District - the person who sold the above drugs to Phuong and Quyen.
Currently, the case is being further investigated to handle the subjects in accordance with the provisions of law.
