The first is the documentary exhibition "Hanoi and its gates" which opened on the morning of October 7 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage site. The exhibition introduces about 170 documents and images with content on 3 topics: Ancient gates; Victory gates; Hanoi gates today.

Through historical sources, images, maps, drawings, documents written in Han Nom and French languages stored at the French Far East Archaeological Center in Hanoi (EFEO), the Vietnam Social Sciences Library and especially the National Archives Center I, the Hanoi City Historical Archives Center, the exhibition recreates the history of Hanoi's city gates; providing the most intuitive and vivid perspective on social life activities around the city gates and the disappearance of most of the city gates in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In addition, the exhibition introduces the process of taking over the capital Hanoi (October 10, 1954) and the development steps of the capital after the country's reunification until now.

The exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - Journey for national independence and socialism through stamp and postcard collections" introduces historical milestones in the life and glorious revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, closely associated with the heroic history of the Vietnamese people and becoming a decisive part of world history in the 20th century.

The journey to save the country and the great career of President Ho Chi Minh are shown through a collection of more than 400 stamps and postcards displayed together with a collection of original stamps and postcards issued from 1911 to the present.

The exhibition consists of 6 parts about the journey to find a way to save the country and the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh to bring the Vietnamese revolution to national independence.

The exhibition of paintings about the Imperial Citadel and the landscapes and cultural heritage of Hanoi, titled "Sacred Marks" by artist Chu Nhat Quang, introduces 52 traditional lacquer paintings depicting the homeland's landscapes and national heritage sites with an artistic style that combines the traditional and the modern.

The exhibition is divided into four themes: "Khoi"; "Coi"; "Linh" and "Noi". The exhibition of paintings about the Imperial Citadel and the landscape and cultural heritage of Hanoi, titled "Dau Thien" by artist Chu Nhat Quang, is not only an art performance but also a journey back to the roots, a reminder of the importance of preserving and promoting the lacquer craft and traditional cultural values in the modern world.

The next activity is an exhibition at Hau Lau relic to promote the value of Hau Lau relic that the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center has conducted research on recently. The information is explained through a system of image panels to help visitors learn more about the meaning of the work, the unique features of the architecture and decorative arts, conveying the wishes for peace and happiness of the Nguyen Dynasty kings.

On this occasion, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center also renovates the "Thang Long - Hanoi, a thousand-year history from underground" exhibition hall. The content and exhibition space are redesigned in a modern and attractive way, contributing to honoring and highlighting the valuable artifacts excavated underground in the Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage site. In particular, 3D mapping projection technology, interactive screens, and specialized display cabinets with OLED touch screens are added to help visitors interact and feel the special values of the artifacts.

The exhibitions and displays will be open to visitors from October 5 at the World Heritage Site of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Hanoi, 19 Hoang Dieu Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
