She decided to continue studying for 4 more years to become a professional drama actress. That decision completely changed Hoang Cuc's life later on, giving the Vietnamese stage and screen a beauty with expressive eyes and excellent acting ability.

In 1997, Hoang Cuc was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist. In 2011, she received the title of People's Artist.
