Photo: Huy ThuAccording to locals living around the communal house, after the water barrier was broken, the tiles on the roof of the communal house gradually fell off. The rafters were exposed to the sun and rain for a long time, rotting and breaking, causing the tiles to fall off in large pieces. In the photo: The tiled roof behind the lower hall. Photo: Huy ThuThe corrugated iron gutter used to collect rainwater between the lower and upper halls became a place to collect fallen tiles. Photo: Huy ThuThe corners of the communal house where the tiled roofs intersect and curve have broken many wooden structures, causing the tiles to fall out and become jagged. Photo: Huy ThuVisiting Trung Can communal house, visitors cannot help but feel sad at the deterioration of the relic. In the photo: The roof of the upper hall also has broken rafters and fallen tiles in many places. Photo: Huy ThuThe wooden structures attached to the sculptures on the communal house have been soaked in rainwater for a long time and are gradually becoming moldy, rotten, and broken... Photo: Huy ThuStanding below the communal house looking up, you can see the tiles of the communal house falling off, especially the roof, the corners... An ancient communal house with the most beautiful sculptures and carvings in Nghe An is seriously deteriorating: The roof is sagging and broken; water is leaking inside the communal house; the bricks in the yard are broken... Mr. Ho Thanh Binh - the caretaker of Trung Can communal house relic said: After each heavy rain, the communal house is more seriously degraded. Currently, the communal house has completely degraded, from top to bottom, from inside to outside. If it is not restored and embellished, it will affect the existence of the heritage. Photo: Huy Thu
