On the afternoon of October 15, Ban Ve Hydropower Company donated 150 million VND to support people in Tuong Duong district to overcome the consequences of floods at the end of September.

Attending on the local government side were comrade Dinh Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; and representatives of departments and offices under the District People's Committee. On the side of Ban Ve Hydropower Company, there was comrade Ta Huu Hung - Director of the Company.

The amount of 150 million VND is the heart of the staff, employees and workers of Ban Ve Hydropower Company sent to the people of Tuong Duong, the households heavily affected by natural disasters, helping people overcome difficulties and quickly stabilize their lives.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, due to the impact of storm No. 4, as of 5:00 p.m. on September 23, the entire district of Tuong Duong had 96 houses affected, of which 6 houses were severely damaged (mainly due to landslides causing rocks and soil to enter the houses): Xa Luong commune: 2 houses; Yen Hoa commune: 1 house; Thach Giam town: 1 house; Yen Thang commune: 1 house; Yen Tinh commune: 1 house. Damage to agriculture, forestry and salt production: 13,386 hectares of rice fields were flooded and collapsed; 7,885 hectares of corn, cassava, bananas, sugarcane and vegetables were swept away and buried.

Regarding transportation, many roads were eroded, and the water pipe systems of some villages were also seriously damaged...

Then, on September 30, flash floods and landslides suddenly occurred in some areas of Luong Minh, Xa Luong, and Luu Kien communes, leaving people unable to react. Many properties were swept away and many schools were submerged in floodwaters.
