Nghe An builds 3 models to process household waste into organic microbial fertilizers
The Provincial Farmers' Association selected 3 units to build a model of processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizer at households.

On the afternoon of October 16, at Nghia Phu commune (Nghia Dan), the Provincial Farmers' Association organized a training conference to equip people with knowledge on collecting, classifying, and processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizers.
Attending and directing the conference were comrade Nguyen Quang Tung - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Farmers' Union of Nghe An province. On the side of Nghia Dan district, there were the Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and a large number of officials and farmers of Nghia Dan district.

The training conference aims to propagate and raise awareness among officials and farmer members about developing agricultural economy in the direction of sustainable and environmentally friendly organic ecology; mobilize and guide farmers to collect, classify and process household waste into organic fertilizer at households to serve agricultural production; form awareness among members and farmers about environmental protection, responding to climate change, building a green - clean - beautiful rural environment.
The Provincial Farmers' Association Standing Committee unanimously selected 3 units: Hung Nguyen, Quynh Luu, Nghia Dan to direct the implementation of 3 models of collecting, classifying and processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizers at farmer member households.

Specifically: Building a model for collecting, classifying and processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizers at farmer member households in Hung Nguyen district; Building a model for collecting, classifying and processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizers at farmer member households in coastal areas, contributing to protecting the marine environment in Quynh Luu district; Building a model for collecting, classifying and processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizers at farmer member households in fruit tree planting planning areas in Nghia Dan district.
Member households participating in the model are trained in knowledge of collecting, classifying, and processing household waste into organic microbial fertilizers; and are supported with materials to process waste into organic microbial fertilizers.

Accordingly, each model is supported with 70 2-compartment plastic trash bins (1 bin per household) to classify household waste; 70 bins of organic compost (1 bin per household); and biological products to process household waste into organic fertilizer.
In recent years, farmers' associations at all levels have organized many propaganda activities to raise awareness among farmer members about environmental protection; built pilot models for collecting and treating waste at households; launched the movement to build "Farmers' trees in gratitude to Uncle Ho"; the program "One million green trees of Nghe An farmers forever grateful to Uncle Ho; "New rural standard gardens", "Farmers' model gardens"; the movement to produce organic microbial fertilizers from agricultural waste and by-products...
