However, the trip was not successful because when the group reached Laos, the Lao guide abdicated his responsibility and refused to continue. In 1927, the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association was established in Hoang Truong commune, including comrades such as Chu Hue, Ho Hung, Chu Dam, Chu Trang,... The Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association of Dien Chau developed strongly in the form of establishing plowing camps, divided into four groups: the first group established a camp at Eo Nghet organized by comrade Hoang Lua (from Thanh Hoa); the second group was established by comrade Vo Mai in Trang Ke (Yen Thanh) including: Chu Dam, Chu Trang and some active youths of Cam Bao village; the third group was organized by comrade Nguyen Nang Tuu in Mung field; the fourth group, established at Truong Van, had comrades Le Ty and Le Tai.

Groups for reading books and newspapers, commenting on patriotic poems and literature, filial piety guilds, and Van Phan fish sauce associations were established, attracting more participants.

In 1928, comrade Vo Nguyen Hien learned from the experience of building a revolutionary base of Hieu Yen Xuan to open the Hung Nghiep Hoi Xa base at Si station. Comrades Ho Hung, Chu Trang, Chu Dam,… mobilized many people to contribute construction shares with a face value of 50 dong.

Comrade Chu Trang, together with other party members, actively directed the people's struggle movement in Hoang Truong commune.

On the occasion of International Labor Day, May 1, 1930, comrade Chu Trang and his comrades in the Party cell organized the hanging of the red hammer and sickle flag on the roof of Long An communal house and on tall trees in the village, and assigned the Party members in the cell to print leaflets and secretly distribute them on village roads, markets and crowded places. Under the leadership of comrade and the Hoang Truong Party cell, the People's struggle movement developed strongly.

The development of the revolutionary movement in Dien Chau district required the rapid establishment of Party organizations. Many cadres were sent to Dien Chau by the Provincial Party Committee, including comrade Chu Van Bien, who established a relationship with comrade Chu Trang to consolidate the Hoang Truong Party Cell and establish the Yen Ly Party Cell (June 1930).

At the end of July 1930, comrade Nguyen Huu Binh (aka Binh Dinh) - special envoy of the Provincial Party Committee to Dien Chau held a conference at Mr. Vu Trung's house in Van Vat village (Dien Lien) to discuss the establishment of Dien Chau Party Committee. The conference agreed to establish a provisional Provincial Party Committee, including 5 comrades: Nguyen Duy Trinh as Secretary, Chu Trang as Deputy Secretary, comrades Ho Tuu, Phan Lac, Dao Xan as Provincial Party Committee members.

After being established, the Provisional Executive Committee assigned responsibilities to each comrade in the Provincial Party Committee, expanding the Party development in the district and some other places. Comrade Chu Trang was assigned by the Provincial Party Committee to build bases in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh areas.

In October 1930, comrades Nguyen Huu Binh, Chu Trang, and Phan Lac returned to organize a meeting at Bui Xuan Nom's house (Do Thanh) to disseminate the Provincial Party Committee's policy, organize a demonstration throughout the district on the occasion of the anniversary of the Russian October Revolution, to demonstrate the strength of the masses, demand tax reduction, postponement, and protest against imperialism and feudal lackeys oppressing Ben Thuy workers and farmers in Hung Nguyen district.

On October 14, 1930, under the leadership of comrade Chu Trang, the people of the villages in Hoang Truong gathered at Dinh Long An to listen to comrades Chu Trang, Chu Hue, and Ho Tuu give speeches. From the communal house, the sound of drums giving orders resounded like thunder, urging the people to enthusiastically rush forward, raising high the red flags of hammer and sickle, banners, holding sticks, spears, etc., marching to the district office to fight for tax reduction, tax deferral, abolition of the patrol system, and demand for land to be divided among the farmers, etc. The protest group was suppressed by soldiers in green uniforms mobilized by prefect Vo Vong. They opened fire, killing and injuring many people, including comrade Ho Sy Tieng, a native of Dong Thap village (Dien Hong), who was at the forefront, holding the commanding flag.

On October 28, 1930, comrade Chu Trang led the people of Hoang Truong commune to organize a rally in Dong Nho (Dien Doai) to hold a memorial service for Ho Si Thieng. Afterwards, the people of Cao Hau Doan marched to demonstrate their power to the village chief Nguyen Tham.

On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1930), the Dien Chau Party Committee launched a struggle movement throughout the entire prefecture. Upon receiving instructions from above, the Hoang Truong Party Cell held a meeting to discuss the plan and assign specific tasks to each cadre and party member. Comrade Chu Trang actively inspected the flag-hanging, prepared slogans, and distributed leaflets to mobilize the masses to fight.

On the morning of November 7, 1930, the protesters of Hoang Truong commune, led by comrade Chu Trang and Chu Hue, gathered at Long An communal house to participate in the protest with the people of Ly Trai and Van Phan communes,... and marched to the provincial capital to fight. Comrade Chu Trang read a speech calling on the masses to unite and bravely move forward. As the group walked, they shouted slogans:

- Oppose imperialist war!

- Support Soviet Russia, reduce taxes for farmers!

Frightened by the people's fighting spirit, the enemy opened fire frantically on the demonstrators, killing and injuring many people. Faced with such a dire situation, the demonstrators had to disperse.

After the demonstration on November 7, 1930, the mass struggle movement increased, the Party organization was further consolidated and developed. Comrade Chu Trang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was transferred to the Provincial Party Committee. While the revolutionary movement was developing strongly, posing many new challenges and tasks, with experience and youthful enthusiasm, Comrade Chu Trang always completed the tasks assigned by his superiors.

In December 1930, the General Committee Executive Committee consisted of 5 comrades: Chu Hue, Truong Chau, Vu Xuoc, Ho Hung, and Ho Nhiep. The Hoang Truong Party organization was divided into 7 Party cells in the whole commune, including 5 official Party cells and 2 merged Party cells. These were Party cells: A, B, C, D, D, E, and G.

Comrade Chu Trang was unfortunately captured by the enemy and sentenced to life in prison. His house and property were burned and confiscated by the enemy. In prison, the enemy's continuous cruel and savage beatings could not subdue the communist's fighting spirit. They tortured him until he was exhausted. He heroically sacrificed himself in Buon Ma Thuot prison on September 15, 1931.
