Renovation and upgrading of provincial road 532 in Quy Hop district
Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has allowed the renovation and upgrading of Provincial Road 532 passing through 5 communes of Quy Hop district, which is seriously degraded.
Provincial Road 532 is 28 km long, passing through 5 communes of Quy Hop district including: the Communes: Lien Hop, Chau Tien, Chau Hong, Chau Thanh, Chau Loc connecting National Highway 48C and National Highway 48D. The road was invested and built in the 80s of the last century, and has now seriously degraded, most of the road surface is peeling, with many potholes. Due to the degraded road, people have difficulty traveling, and many traffic accidents have occurred. In the rainy season, the road is muddy, and in the dry season, it is dusty.
Faced with the above situation, the Provincial People's Committee has recently allowed investment in renovating and upgrading provincial road 532 passing through 5 communes of Quy Hop district, which has been seriously degraded, affecting socio-economic development. Accordingly, this road will be upgraded to the standards of a grade 5 mountainous road, paved with asphalt concrete, with a total investment capital of 287 billion VND, implementation time of 24 months, it is expected that the road will start construction at the end of 2024, and will be put into use by 2026.
Currently, Nghe An Department of Transport is organizing the selection of contractors to implement the Project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 532 with a length of 28 km.
Mr. Kim Thanh Xuyen - Head of Economic - Infrastructure Department of Quy Hop district said: In the coming time, the district will coordinate with other sectors to focus on site clearance and handover to investors.
