The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee unanimously authorized comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh to direct the activities of the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders and staff of the Provincial People's Council Committees, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation announced Notice No. 1570-TB/TU, dated October 28, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the unanimous authorization to operate the activities of the Party Delegation of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term XVIII, 2021-2026.

Accordingly, the authorized person is comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; The authorized person is comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

In addition to the general tasks and powers prescribed in Working Regulation No. 06-QC/TU, dated December 8, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the Working Regulations of the Party Delegation of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026; authorize specific tasks of the Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including:

In charge of the overall work of the Party Delegation, assign tasks to Party Delegation members; directly in charge of personnel organization work; maintain relations with the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee; the National Assembly Party Delegation and the Government Party Personnel Committee.

Convene, chair, decide on the content, agenda and conclusions of the Party Delegation's meetings; sign documents on behalf of the Party Delegation to send to the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee; direct the provision of information to Party Delegation members according to regulations.

At the meeting, the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council witnessed the authorization and unanimously approved the authorized contents.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Thai Thanh Quy thanked the Party Delegation, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Council delegates for their important sharing and support during his time participating in the Provincial People's Council, especially in his capacity as Secretary of the Party Delegation and Chairman of the 18th Provincial People's Council; especially for supporting the spirit of solidarity and determination to innovate to improve the quality of the Provincial People's Council's activities.

Up to now, those innovations have brought about very specific and practical results, making positive and important contributions to the development of the province in recent times; recognized by delegates, sectors and voters; the role and position of the Provincial People's Council and its committees have been raised to a higher level.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy hopes that in the coming time, the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, and continuous innovation to implement the determination from the beginning of many periods to innovate the activities of the Provincial People's Council to continue to have better and more effective achievements.

On behalf of the Party Delegation and leaders, officials of the Provincial People's Council, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council congratulated Comrade Thai Thanh Quy on being mobilized, assigned, and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission and assigned by the collective leadership of the Central Economic Commission to be the Standing Deputy Head of the Commission.
