Among the mercenaries neutralized in the Bryansk region were citizens of the United States, Poland and Canada, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told Sputnik.
In the Bryansk region, an attempt to violate the Russian state border was stopped, four commandos were killed, the rest of the reconnaissance-sabotage group was eliminated by precision missile-artillery strikes, according to a statement from the Operations Center of the Russian State Security Service FSB.
It should be noted that the attempted infiltration subjects who were punished were carrying foreign weapons and communication equipment, as well as personal belongings that indicated they were from a third country.
