October 30, 1949:The Central Committee of the Indochinese Communist Party decided: "The Vietnamese military forces fighting and working to help Laos will be organized into a separate system and named as Volunteer Army."
October 30, 1962:The Government Council issued a Decree on the establishment of the Foreign Trade Bank of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, abbreviated as the Foreign Trade Bank of Vietnam, now the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank).
