In recent times, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of the Provincial Police has made many efforts in advising and directing the strengthening of state management of fire prevention and rescue, in conjunction with the good implementation of training, drills and regular forces and means to promptly deploy fire fighting and rescue work, contributing to a particularly important and decisive role in reducing the number of fires, preventing large fires from causing human casualties and minimizing property damage. Since then, it has been highly appreciated, recognized, commended and rewarded by the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial People's Committee and the masses.

In addition to the achieved results, fire prevention and fighting and rescue work still has certain shortcomings and limitations. Fire, explosion, incidents and accidents always pose a potential risk of occurring at any time, especially the risk of fires causing damage to people and property.

To overcome the above limitations and difficulties, closely following the direction of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security in fire prevention and rescue work, on October 28, 2024, the Director of the Provincial Public Security Department signed and issued Decision No. 3344 to establish 02 special elite Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Teams on land and underwater under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department. These are identified as the main Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Teams of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force in the whole province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department requested the officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team, which is especially elite, to uphold their sense of responsibility and always be ready, when there is a mobilization order, they must deploy forces and means to be present at the scene as quickly as possible, to put out fires, rescue and provide timely and effective rescue. Regularly improve their knowledge, practice, and further improve their professional skills and qualifications, fire fighting and rescue techniques to serve effectively in practice, especially when facing dangerous and influential situations.
