Pig price in the North
In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Traders in Bac Giang, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Hung Yen and Hai Duong provinces are purchasing live pigs at the highest price of VND64,000/kg. In contrast, in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh, the purchase price of live pigs is VND62,000/kg, which is the lowest in the region.
In addition, traders in Yen Bai, Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang also purchased live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the price in Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and Ha Nam.
Pig price in Central Highlands region
In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs today has changed slightly and fluctuates between 58,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region. Meanwhile, in Dak Lak, the purchase price is 58,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded pork prices ranging from 59,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the Southern region
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs has fluctuated compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, traders in Can Tho, Dong Thap and Soc Trang purchased live pigs at the highest price of 62,000 VND/kg. In contrast, in Ben Tre, the purchase price of live pigs was 60,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the price in Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, An Giang and Bac Lieu, which is the lowest in the region.
The remaining localities recorded a price of 61,000 VND/kg.
