After losing to Thanh Hoa, coach Pham Anh Tuan said that Song Lam Nghe An needs to improve their defense to be able to win.
On the afternoon of November 10, Song Lam Nghe An had to suffer a defeat at home in the North Central Derby match of round 7 of V-League 2024/2025. Despite their best efforts, coach Pham Anh Tuan's students still lost 0-1 to their neighbor Thanh Hoa team.
