Visiting Hao Kiet village in Vinh Thanh commune (Yen Thanh), tourists cannot help but be impressed by the largest and most beautiful village gate in the rice land.

On the village gate, both the front and back are decorated with beautiful poems expressing the rich tradition of the village, evoking love for the homeland:"Eighteen dukes bring glory to the motherland/ Heroes shine with the spirit of their fatherland"; "Even though I go far away to a thousand places/ Heroes are sacred and loved a thousand times."". Looking out from the village gate, right in front of your eyes is the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni and the unique phoenix-shaped sacred stone block of Van Son Pagoda. Photo: Huy Thu
