Nghe An will organize the Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition in 2025
The Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 883/KH-UBND dated November 18, on organizing the Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Group" in the province in 2025.
The organization of the contest aims to raise awareness, perception and responsibility of the people in fire prevention, fire fighting (PCCC) and rescue, as well as widely propagate the role and practical significance of the model ""Fire safety interfamily team"; continue to make the activities of the "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Teams" more practical and effective. Along with that, promote propaganda work, build a movement for the whole population to participate in fire prevention and fighting and rescue, and at the same time, it is an opportunity for people to exchange and share experiences and knowledge about fire prevention and fighting and rescue.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to monitor, guide, inspect and urge the implementation of this Plan. Agencies and units coordinate and guide the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to organize the Contest effectively, ensuring the right time; advise and propose the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fire Prevention and Rescue Steering Committee to attend and direct the Contest in some localities.
The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns direct the People's Committees at the commune level to coordinate with relevant units to continue promoting the replication of the model of "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Group" for individual houses, houses for residence combined with production and business, and townhouses in the area.
In this Plan, the Provincial People's Committee also requires Vinh city, Thai Hoa town, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh districts to develop a Plan and organize the implementation of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Competition "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Team" at the district level to ensure quality and on schedule. At the same time, establish the Organizing Committee and the Arbitration Committee of the District-level Competition; proactively arrange funding sources to organize the Competition in accordance with regulations; direct and guide the decoration and propaganda work at the Competition area and main roads in the area.

From the results of the 2024 district and provincial level competitions, the Khoa Da hamlet fire safety inter-family team, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district was selected to represent the whole province to participate in the cluster-level fire safety inter-family team competition in Binh Dinh province organized by the Ministry of Public Security. As a result, they won both first prizes in theory and practice, and finally won the first prize for the entire group at the competition.
