More information about the case of a child who was run over and killed by a truck after getting off the school bus
The grandmother picked up the child at the car door, but while she was waiting for another child, LTKNg. crossed the street into the house and the heartbreaking incident happened.
Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper reporters on the morning of November 20, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Dung - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Son commune, Anh Son district said: After the incident, the local Party Committee, government, and school directly visited and expressed condolences to the family.

The family of Le Huy Hoang (born in 1984) and Nguyen Thi Tuy (born in 1994) has 2 children, the eldest is in 2nd grade, the youngest is in preschool. Hoang works far away, while Tuy stays home to farm, the family has an average income. Every day, the grandmother, Mai Thi Thao, still takes the children, including Hoang and Tuy's children and her grandchild from the house behind, to the car to go to school and pick them up.
On the afternoon of November 18, she picked up her grandchild right at the car door, but while she was waiting to pick up another grandchild, LTKNg crossed the street into the house and the heartbreaking incident happened.
Regarding the shuttle bus, it was learned that some parents contracted with a local person to pick up and drop off their children.
Mr. Cao Duc Cuong, resident of Hamlet 1, Cao Son Commune, Anh Son District - the driver of the car, said: He has a contract with a group of parents to pick up and drop off 32 students in Hamlet 1 and Hamlet 6, Cao Son Commune, of which 28 are primary school students, the rest are preschoolers. Each day, the car will pick up and drop off 4 times: morning to noon, early afternoon to evening, with a price of 400,000 VND/child/month. The pick-up and drop-off are right in front of the house and the parents always take the children.
The family of L.Th.K.Ng's grandmother contracted a bus company to pick up and drop off 4 children (2 grandchildren, 2 granddaughters) to school every day. On the afternoon of November 18, when the bus arrived at the opposite alley, Ng's grandmother was waiting, standing right at the door of the bus to pick up the children as usual. At that time, one child got off first and ran home, while Ng. was standing near the front of the bus. Ng's grandmother stayed behind to pick up her two grandchildren, but was told by Cuong that today the children were being picked up by their mother at school. While she was talking to him, Ng. suddenly saw his sister standing on the other side of the street, so he ran across the street to go home and was hit by a truck.

Previously, Nghe An Newspaper reported that at around 5:15 p.m. on November 18, a school bus stopped on Ho Chi Minh Road, passing through Hamlet 1, Cao Son Commune, Anh Son District, to let a student off.
When LTKNg, 5 years old, got out of the car and ran across the street to get home, at the same time a truck rushed towards and hit the child. Although the people took the child to the emergency room, the child did not survive.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Anh Son District Police is temporarily detaining the related vehicles to investigate the cause of the accident, as well as issues related to the shuttle vehicle.
