International gold price this afternoon November 20, 2024
Gold prices continued to rise for the fourth consecutive session on November 21, thanks to strong demand for gold as a safe-haven asset. Spot gold prices rose slightly by 0.15% to $2,654/ounce.
According to Kitco, the current rally in gold is fueled by the belief that the precious metal's upward trend remains strong, despite a significant decline earlier.
“The recent price drop is just a correction and does not change the positive forecast for gold,” said Julia Khandoshko, CEO of Mind Money in Europe. She believes that gold prices will return to last month’s record high of $2,800 an ounce and could reach $3,000 an ounce by 2025.
According to Ms. Khandoshko, the long-term outlook for gold remains very positive thanks to factors such as geopolitical tensions, the increasing influence of Eastern countries and the global inflation situation. These factors are expected to continue to support gold prices in the future.
She also said that the US election results or short-term fluctuations in markets such as cryptocurrencies will not affect the overall trend of gold. The recent price decline is even seen as a good opportunity for investors to enter the market, as these short-term fluctuations are a natural part of the market cycle.
“The upward trend in gold prices will continue, and investors should not be too concerned about temporary fluctuations,” Khandoshko stressed.
