Summary of the plot of the series "Evil Mother, Angel Father" episode 1

In episode 1 of Evil Mother, Angel Father, Loc (Minh Hang) goes out to play games with his friends while Tat Thang – his wife – is away on a business trip. The next morning, Loc wakes up still dreaming about his ex-girlfriend, causing him to laugh uncontrollably in his sleep. Loc's close friends quickly notice and worry, warning that if Tat Thang finds out, who knows what might happen.

On his way to pick up his wife, Loc encountered a robber and had his phone stolen. However, Tat Thang didn't panic at all; he quickly sped up his car and apprehended the thief. She is not only a strong wife but also a talented deputy director who dares to confront wrongdoing at work. However, Tat Thang is very busy with her work, causing her daughter, Tram Anh, to live with her paternal grandparents from the age of one.

Despite being very busy, Tat Thang still had to find time to take his parents back to their hometown to visit an old friend named Sa. Upon arrival, Tram Anh immediately started complaining because she didn't like the smelly cow shed. She was spoiled and pampered by her grandparents. When Tram Anh met To Uyen, a girl from the countryside, Tat Thang's family was surprised because To Uyen excelled not only in academics but also in sports and arts.

When To Uyen took Tram Anh to the restroom, the little girl cried loudly, claiming the restroom was dirty and demanding that her parents take her home. While Loc constantly called Tram Anh "princess" and spoiled her, Tat Thang was firm and didn't give his daughter any other choice. As a result, Tram Anh had to hold her urine.

Another notable incident was when Tat Thang's father-in-law was playing chess with To Uyen. Tram Anh, not wanting her grandfather to lose, swept the entire chessboard away to protect him. Afterward, she even wet herself on him while sitting on his lap. These actions led her grandmother's friend to comment that Tram Anh was a naughty child, angering her grandmother, who decided to bring the whole family back home.

Upon returning home, Tat Thang worried and shared with her husband about their daughter's inappropriate behavior. She discussed with Loc the possibility of bringing Tram Anh back after four years living with her paternal grandparents. However, Loc defended their daughter, arguing that children should be spoiled and that To Uyen must have faced academic pressure from her family to be so academically successful.

Although Tat Thang was worried about his son starting first grade, Loc still used himself as an example, saying that he had also been spoiled by his mother in the same way and still did well in school.

The film "Evil Mother, Angel Father" is a story revolving around family issues and child rearing, starring Minh Hang as Tat Thang, the wife of Tan Loc (Huy Anh).

Their family life is strained because their daughter, Tram Anh (Ngan Chi), is stubborn and dislikes studying. Tat Thang, wanting his daughter to get a good education and attend a prestigious school, adopts a strict parenting style; however, this creates tension in both his marriage and his relationship with his daughter.

The appearance of Gia Han (Jun Vu), Tan Loc's ex-girlfriend, further complicates the situation, pushing Tat Thang to decide to divorce her husband, whom she considers weak.

Meanwhile, Tram Anh witnesses family conflicts and decides to leave home, causing panic within the family.

The film "Evil Mom, Angel Dad" is not only a story about the tensions in raising children, but also offers lessons about family relationships, especially how to cope with the difficulties of parenting.

Director Vu Ngoc Dang drew inspiration from the book "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" to create this story, reflecting situations that viewers can easily recognize in real life, thereby conveying messages about family relationships, misunderstandings, and challenges in marriage.
