The conference evaluated the results of the Red Cross activities and movements in 2024 of the Red Cross Societies of the districts: Tan Ky, Quynh Luu, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong, Hoang Mai town and Thai Hoa town.
In 2024, the Red Cross Society in Cluster 3 did a good job of advising the Party Committee and local authorities, directing and implementing activities well and improving the quality, innovating the content of the Society's activities, promoting humanitarian movements... As a result, 18 billion VND was mobilized in humanitarian fields.
On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross Association connected and presented 5 Destech water purifiers to poor households in Thai Hoa town; Emulation Group No. 3 visited and presented gifts to 2 extremely disadvantaged households, each gift worth 1 million VND in cash and gifts.
Previously, on November 28, 2024, the Provincial Red Cross Society held the inauguration and handover of the boarding kitchen to Muong Piet school and Thong Thu Kindergarten, Que Phong district.
The kitchen was built with a total cost of 600 million VND through a nutrition program for poor and disabled children launched by the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee.
