On November 29, the National Assembly worked at Dien Hong Hall to pass 5 draft laws and discuss 2 draft laws.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Geology and Minerals. The Law consists of 12 Chapters and 111 Articles, regulating basic geological surveys, geological surveys of minerals; protection of unexploited geological and mineral resources; mineral activities; mineral recovery; mineral processing; finance on geology and minerals and auction of mineral exploitation rights; state management of geology and minerals within the mainland, islands, internal waters, territorial waters, contiguous zones, exclusive economic zones and continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue, consisting of 8 Chapters and 55 Articles regulating fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue; forces, means, ensuring operating conditions and rights, obligations and responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations, households and individuals in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue activities.
The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Securities Law, the Accounting Law, the Independent Audit Law, the State Budget Law, the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, the Tax Administration Law, the Personal Income Tax Law, the National Reserve Law, and the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations with 11 articles.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning, the Law on Investment, the Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model and the Law on Bidding, including 6 articles; amending and supplementing 119 articles, clauses and 3 Appendices of 4 Laws; basically eliminating specific and detailed provisions under the authority of the Government, facilitating decentralization and delegation of power, meeting the requirements of administrative reform and ensuring compliance with reality.
The National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Public Investment (amended) consisting of 7 chapters and 103 articles, regulating State management of public investment; management and use of public investment capital; rights, obligations and responsibilities of agencies, units, organizations and individuals related to public investment activities.
According to the Law, sectors and fields using public investment capital include: national defense; security and social order and safety; education, training and vocational education; science and technology; health, population and family; culture and information; radio, television, news agencies; physical education and sports; environmental protection; economic activities; activities of state agencies, public service units, political organizations and socio-political organizations; social security; other sectors and fields as prescribed by law.

During the working program, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils and the draft Law on Management and Investment of State Capital in Enterprises.
