Violating alcohol concentration, man in Tan Ky district was fined 35 million VND

The alcohol test result exceeded 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath, the man in Tan Ky district was fined 35 million VND.

Standing Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh has just signed a Decision to sanction administrative violations in the field of road and railway traffic against Mr. D.XM (born in 1992), residing in Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district.

The penalty decision dated November 25 clearly stated that Mr. D.XM drove a car with license plate 37A-881.xx on the road with a breath alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath (test result 0.558 milligrams/liter of breath).

Accordingly, Mr. D.XM was fined VND 35 million, as stipulated in Point a, Clause 10, Article 5, Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government; Clause 4, Article 23 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020). At the same time, Mr. D.XM was deprived of the right to use a Class B2 car driving license for a period of 23 months from the effective date of the Decision on sanction.
