German general gives 'truth' statement on weapons to Ukraine
Germany cannot supply weapons to Ukraine in the necessary quantities, Christian Freuding, head of the German Defense Ministry's Planning and Command Department, said on the Bundeswehr's YouTube channel.
“The storage capacity of the Bundeswehr and other countries is limited, and the military industry cannot supply new materials as quickly as the dynamics of war require,” he admitted.
The officer also called for not considering the German "Taurus" missile as a weapon that could significantly influence the course of the war.
"I object to 'Taurus' being considered the main weapon capable of changing the rules of the game. It's all just political rhetoric to put pressure," he said.

Moscow believes that providing weapons to Ukraine hinders the resolution of the crisis, directly draws NATO countries into the conflict and is "playing with fire".
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted: Any shipment of weapons to Kiev will become a legitimate target for the Russian military. According to him, the United States and the North Atlantic Alliance are directly involved in the conflict, they not only supply weapons, but also train personnel in the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries. The Kremlin stated that pumping weapons from the West to Ukraine does not contribute to the negotiations and will have a negative impact.
Last Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the nation. He announced: In response to the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on objects in the Kursk and Bryansk regions with long-range ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles of the United States and the United Kingdom, Moscow successfully tested "Oreshnik", one of the newest medium-range missile systems.
The Russian military has launched a non-nuclear hypersonic ballistic missile attack on a large Ukrainian industrial complex in Dnepropetrovsk that produces missiles and other weapons, the Russian Defense Ministry said, stressing that all warheads hit their targets.
