Emergency arrest of woman who abused many children
During the investigation, the authorities determined that Ms. B. had no expertise in preschool education, claimed to babysit at home, and repeatedly beat the children.
On December 10, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) provided information related to the case of handling child abuse that caused a stir in public opinion.
Specifically, the Vung Tau City Police Department issued an order to detain and arrest the detainee in an emergency and decided to temporarily detain Ms. B. to continue verifying and clarifying the act of child abuse.
According to the People's Committee of Vung Tau City, the verification process showed that Ms. TTB (born in 1976) admitted to looking after and taking care of children at her private home (in Ward 7, Vung Tau City).

Previously, on November 22, 2024, Ms. B. hired Ms. BTML (born in 1999) to help with housework. On December 6, Ms. L. quit working at Ms. B.'s nursery. While working for Ms. B., Ms. L. witnessed Ms. B. often covering her nose with her hands, patting her mouth, face, head, and pulling her hair.
Not stopping there, Mrs. B. continued to use a spoon to hit the children's mouths and used the TV remote to hit them in the mouths to make them eat faster. Afterwards, Ms. L. used her personal phone to record the incident.
On the morning of December 3, while feeding porridge to P. (born 2022), because P. was sick, vomiting, and refused to eat, Ms. B. used her right hand to slap P.'s mouth and pinch P.'s nose. At around 10:00 a.m. on December 5, while feeding porridge to T. (born 2022), Ms. B. continued to use a metal spoon to hit T.'s mouth.
Next, on December 6, while feeding porridge to T. (born 2023), Mrs. B. used her right hand to pat the child's mouth twice. However, T. still refused to eat, so this woman used her right hand to hit the child's mouth with the TV remote control and continued to use her left hand to grab the hair, pull back and push the spoon of porridge into T.'s mouth.
When T. still refused to eat, Mrs. B. put her child's head on her left calf and hit her teeth with a spoon many times.
At around 4:30 p.m. the same day, when Ms. B. was giving T. medicine, she continued to use her hand to hit T.'s mouth.
Vung Tau City People's Committee also said that immediately after receiving the information, they directed the City Police to investigate and strictly handle the case. During the investigation, the authorities determined that Ms. B. had no expertise in preschool education and claimed to be taking care of children at home.
