During the investigation, authorities determined that Ms. B. had no professional qualifications in early childhood education, was self-employed in childcare at her home, and had repeatedly abused children.

On December 10th, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) released information regarding the handling of child abuse cases that have caused public outcry.

Specifically, the Investigation Police Department of Vung Tau City issued an order to detain and arrest Ms. B. in an emergency situation, and decided to temporarily detain her to continue verifying and clarifying her child abuse activities.

According to the People's Committee of Vung Tau City, the verification process revealed that Ms. TTB (born in 1976) admitted to babysitting and caring for children at her private residence (in Ward 7, Vung Tau City).

Ms. B abused several children at a childcare facility in Vung Tau City.

Previously, on November 22, 2024, Ms. B. hired Ms. BTML (born in 1999) to help with chores. On December 6, Ms. L. stopped working at Ms. B.'s daycare center. During her time working for Ms. B., Ms. L. witnessed Ms. B. frequently covering her nose with her hands, slapping her mouth, face, and head, and pulling her hair.

Not stopping there, Ms. B. continued to hit the children in the mouths with a spoon and a TV remote to make them eat faster. Afterwards, Ms. L. used her personal phone to record the incident.

On the morning of December 3rd, while feeding P. (born in 2022) porridge, because P. was sick, vomiting, and refused to eat, Mrs. B. slapped P. in the mouth and pinched P.'s nose with her right hand. Around 10:00 AM on December 5th, while feeding T. (born in 2022) porridge, Mrs. B. continued to hit T. in the mouth with a metal spoon.

Next, on December 6th, while feeding T. (born in 2023) porridge, Mrs. B. slapped the child's mouth twice with her right hand. However, T. still refused to eat, so the woman grabbed the TV remote with her right hand and hit the child's mouth with it. She then used her left hand to grab T.'s hair, pulling it backward and forcing the spoon of porridge into T.'s mouth.

When T. still refused to eat, Mrs. B. had the child rest her head on her left calf and repeatedly hit the child's teeth with a spoon.

At approximately 4:30 PM that same day, while giving T. medicine, Mrs. B. continued to hit T. in the mouth with her hand.

The People's Committee of Vung Tau City also stated that immediately after receiving the information, they directed the City Police to investigate and strictly handle the case. During the investigation, the authorities determined that Ms. B. had no professional qualifications in early childhood education and was self-employed in childcare at her home.
