Maximize the role of "leader" in youth work or Building values of Vietnamese youth in the new era.

In the new era, the role ofyouth leaderbecomes more important than ever.

A leader is someone who guides young people towards good values. Inspiration is not only through words but also through concrete actions, companionship and support, helping young people clearly realize their role towards the community and the country.

Leaders of the Association at all levels also need to fulfill their responsibility to care for the legitimate rights of young people, listen to and understand the difficulties they face. From there, create conditions for young people to study and work in a favorable environment, protecting their rights to equality and development.

In the digital age, leaders must know how to apply technology to improve the effectiveness of youth work. At the same time, expanding the mindset of integration and connecting young people with international exchange and learning opportunities are also important factors to help them confidently step out into the world.

From those requirements, I hope that in the new term, the Vietnam Youth Union will select leaders worthy of the expectations of the youth in the current period.

"Continue to preserve and promote national cultural traditions"

Ms. Lo Thi Lan - Member of the District Youth Union Executive Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Giam town, Tuong Duong district

Born in an area with a large population of ethnic minorities, I am always proud of the richness and diversity of the cultural life of the ethnic groups in the area. However, it is regrettable that today, a part of the youth no longer seems interested in preserving and promoting these unique traditional cultural values.

Therefore, I hope that in the next term,Youth Union at all levelswill implement many activities and action programs to arouse national pride and aspirations of the young generation through honoring traditional cultural values. In particular, it is necessary to create useful playgrounds and suitable programs for young people in ethnic minority areas to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and develop themselves. This not only contributes to building a healthy and positive living environment but also helps the young generation develop comprehensively, while maintaining national identity in the current period.

In addition, I propose organizing skills training courses or start-up programs associated with local advantages for ethnic minority youth, helping them take advantage of traditional cultural values for economic development. These training courses not only help youth improve their capacity but also connect cultural values with real life, motivating them to continue to preserve their national identity in the period of innovation and integration.

"Promote solidarity, gather religious people".

It can be said that the attraction and gathering of young people into the Association in the current period is still not as high as expected. Therefore, I hope that in the new term, the Association will implement many creative models and effective methods to attract a large number of young people with religion to participate in activities. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to discovering and nurturing the "nuclei" of the movement at the grassroots level, thereby building a core team of cadres who play the role of "bridge" between religion and life. These people not only contribute to improving the quality of solidarity work but also serve as an example to spread the positive values of young people in religious communities.

In addition, I hope that the Congress will orient and have specific solutions to address the employment needs of rural youth, especially youth in religious areas. This will not only help limit the situation of young people leaving their hometown to work far away, causing difficulties in maintaining solidarity and gathering, but also contribute to building a sustainable economic life, creating motivation for young people to stay attached to their homeland.

In addition, it is necessary to strengthen forums and direct dialogues between young people and Union officials and Party committees and authorities to listen to opinions, thoughts and suggestions from the grassroots. Thereby, creating an open space to promote understanding, strengthen cohesion among social components, contributing to building a stronger national solidarity bloc in the new situation.

"Raising public health awareness"

Doctor Vu Hong Son - Secretary of the Youth Union of Vinh City General Hospital

As a young doctor and a typical youth of Nghe An province, I am very honored to be a delegate to the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union. As a doctor, I hope that the congress will pay more attention to raising young people's awareness of public health, especially in the current social context with many challenges related to epidemics, environment and lifestyle. I expect that the action programs will focus on building volunteer movements for public health, such as free medical examination and treatment, raising awareness of disease prevention, or providing medical support in remote areas. This is an opportunity for us, young doctors, not only to contribute our expertise but also to spread the spirit of living beautifully and responsibly among Vietnamese youth.

In addition, I expect the congress to propose solutions to support young people in improving their professional capacity, especially in areas that require creativity and innovation such as medicine, technology and scientific research. As a young person in the medical industry, I hope to have more forums and seminars to exchange and learn from domestic and international experts, helping our young generation to be more confident in their career development and contribution to society.

Create an environment to improve vocational skills for young people

Mr. Vo Trong Tuan - Secretary of the Youth Union of Saigon - Nghe Tinh Beer Joint Stock Company

I hope that in the coming term, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union will implement practical programs and activities to improve vocational skills for young people, focusing on essential skills to adapt and develop in the digital age. Training courses on soft skills, digital skills, creative thinking, and teamwork in a multicultural environment need to be prioritized and implemented systematically and effectively.

In addition, I hope that the Association will continue to promote and expand academic and creative movements, especially programs to support young people who are passionate about scientific research and entrepreneurship. Organizing competitions, seminars and exchange programs will create opportunities for union members, young people, students and pupils to challenge themselves, demonstrate their talents and exchange experiences. These activities not only help young people shape their direction but also serve as a springboard for them to master the fields of science, engineering and technology.

I believe that, with the support of the Youth Union, every Vietnamese youth will be motivated to continuously improve their knowledge, improve their skills and confidently integrate. This will contribute to building a new generation of youth - people with courage, capacity and ability to master the future, while affirming Vietnam's position in the international arena.

Improve your skills to become a digital citizen.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khanh - Member of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Head of the Youth Department of Nghe An Provincial Police

Currently, the requirement for young people to ensure security and safety in cyberspace is extremely urgent. I hope that the Youth Union, Association and staff and members will promote their pioneering role, actively spreading official and standard information. At the same time, participate in preventing false and harmful information on social networks. Building a healthy cyberspace not only protects oneself but also contributes to the stability and development of society.

In addition, the dissemination of meaningful stories, good deeds, and useful work for the community also needs to be promoted more strongly. This is not only a way to affirm the values of young people but also contributes to spreading positive messages, creating a wide influence in the online community.

We hope that the Congress will open forums for in-depth discussions on digital transformation, advice on information security methods, and sharing experiences on cyber security. At the same time, it is necessary to emphasize the pioneering and volunteering role of youth and students in the digital transformation process.

With the spirit of learning and dedication, I believe that Vietnamese youth in general and Nghe An in particular will not only master cyberspace but also become brave and pioneering digital citizens, contributing to building a modern, safe and sustainably developed Vietnam.
