World gold price this afternoon December 25, 2024
During the holiday, the world gold price stopped at 2,619 USD/ounce. Converted according to the exchange rate on the free market (25,840 VND/USD), it reached 82.5 million VND/tael, 1.9 million VND lower than gold rings.
Domestic gold prices continue to closely follow the adjustment trend of the world gold market, which is also currently in a quiet state as the international market is less active during the year-end holiday season.
George Milling-Stanley, an analyst at State Street Global Advisors, expects that in 2025, gold prices will likely set new records as demand for additional gold in central banks' reserves amid economic and geopolitical instability remains.
Ahead of the new year, Tom Bruce, macro investment strategist at Tanglewood Total Wealth Management, said that although he does not have a specific price target, he predicts that gold prices will increase by about 10% next year, staying below $3,000 an ounce.
“Although gold may grow more slowly in 2025 than the impressive gain of nearly 30% this year, gold is still an important asset that investors should own,” Mr. Tom Brunce revealed.
