National Mathematics Olympiad Exam 2024-2025
Below is the official exam paper for the 2024-2025 National Excellent Student Mathematics Competition, first day of testing.
Candidates began the first day of the 2024-2025 National Excellent Student Examination with the Mathematics subject, consisting of 3 questions, with a time limit of 180 minutes and a maximum score of 20.
The 2025 National High School Excellent Student Selection Examination will take place from December 24-26 with 6,482 candidates participating at 68 examination centers. Candidates will take exams in 13 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, and Japanese.
This is the first time the exam has been held under the new general education curriculum. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the percentage of students winning prizes accounts for 60% of the participants, with the number of first, second, and third prizes not exceeding 60% of the total number of prizes, and the number of first prizes not exceeding 5%.
Students who win prizes will be given priority for direct admission to universities and colleges. Candidates who qualify for the selection round of the International Olympic team will be exempt from the high school graduation exam. The results of the exam are expected to be announced at the end of January 2025.
