After Zirkzee, Juventus wants another MU star
According to the Daily Star, Juventus are looking to sign two Manchester United stars: left-back Tyrell Malacia and striker Joshua Zirkzee.
Juventus are currently struggling in Serie A, sitting fifth, 12 points behind leaders Napoli, and 14th in the Champions League. The prospect of captain Danilo leaving when his contract expires at the end of the season has prompted Juventus to look for a replacement at left-back.
Malacia, who joins United from Feyenoord in 2022, has struggled for game time due to injuries, particularly following knee surgery and other issues. He has made just four first-team appearances so far in the 2024/25 season. Juventus are pursuing a loan deal for Malacia this month, with an option to buy in the summer.
With Malacia's salary of 75,000 pounds/week, Juventus is expected to pay most of this money to free up Man United's salary fund, while also creating conditions for coach Ruben Amorim to bring in new faces.
Alongside Malacia, Joshua Zirkzee is also a transfer target for Juventus. The 23-year-old striker joined Man United in the summer of 2024 for £36.5 million, but he has struggled to find playing time at Old Trafford. Zirkzee has only played a few minutes and was taken off after just 33 minutes in the defeat to Newcastle.
However, Zirkzee had an impressive season at Bologna under current Juventus manager Thiago Motta, so Juventus are said to be keen on loaning him out this transfer window.
