Nghe An spirit of connection at Saigon Beer's Tet event
On the evening of December 31, 2024, Saigon Lager Beer organized the New Year event "63 opens 1 Tet" with a giant blind box unboxing in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak and connecting 11 other bridges across the country. The event not only created a creative interactive space but also told emotional stories, connecting thousands of people across 63 provinces and cities.

At the event centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the "unboxing" stage revealed the image of a giant Saigon Lager beer can, which was also a 360-degree LED screen to connect the interaction between KOLs such as Huy Me, Han Hang, Hoa Xu and Evy with audiences across the country. In Dak Lak, ST. Son Thach brought a vibrant musical performance, connecting especially with the Central Highlands audience. Closing the event, the shouts of "dzo" from thousands of participants across the country opened a meaningful Tet season.
The event also demonstrated the spirit of overcoming language barriers when Hoa Xu and Evy in Ho Chi Minh City had a memorable interaction with Iryna Yang from Quang Ninh. Initially, there was a bit of a “stuck” due to the language barrier, but the three quickly integrated, shouting “let’s go” together to welcome the new year. Hoa Xu shared: “Participating in the Bia Saigon Lager event, Hoa made new friends, even though we come from different regions and cultures.”
The story of the couple Huy Me and Han Hang is also a highlight. Although they are on different sides of the bridge, they still welcome the New Year together thanks to the connection portal of Saigon Lager Beer. Huy Me emotionally wrote on his personal page: “The event helped Hang and I, as well as many others, break down all geographical and cultural distances to enjoy the sacred moment together.”
In Dak Lak, ST. Son Thach brought a performance close to the audience, especially the elderly. He shared: “Thank you Saigon Beer for creating an opportunity for ST to connect with everyone through a meaningful New Year event.”
Thanh Trang, a young participant in Hanoi, commented: “There are few events that are both artistic and connect multiple generations like '63 opens 1 Tet.' This is a place where everyone, regardless of geography, age or language, can connect and share a common Tet season.”
The event is not only an artistic performance but also a symbol of solidarity, breaking down all barriers, so that thousands of Vietnamese people can together open a complete and meaningful Tet season.
