Support families of victims of the accident in Ky Son

On January 13, many organizations from the central to local levels came to encourage and visit the families of the victims who died in the tragic accident in Tham Hin village (Nam Can commune, Ky Son district).

After the tragic accident when a truck crashed into a grocery store, killing 6 people in Nam Can commune, representatives of the People's Committee of Ky Son district were present at the scene to support the victims.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district said: Immediately after the accident occurred, the People's Committee of the district sent officials to the scene. Initially, the district supported each victim with 15 million VND.

On the afternoon of January 13, the delegation of the National Traffic Safety Committee led by Mr. Le Kim Thanh - Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee visited, encouraged and presented gifts of the National Traffic Safety Committee to the unfortunate victims. The amount given to each victim was 5 million VND. Here, the delegation shared and encouraged the victims' families to try to overcome the pain to soon stabilize their lives.

On the same afternoon, a delegation of the Ky Son District Party Committee led by Comrade Ly Ba Thai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee visited and offered condolences to the families of the victims. Also present were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Son District. Here, the delegation sent 10 million VND in support to each victim's family.

“The pain is too great to overcome, but hopefully with the support and sharing of the government, organizations and people, the families can feel the encouragement and spiritual support. The tragic accident that happened near Tet made us extremely sad” – comrade Ly Ba Thai shared with the family of Mr. Va Ba Denh, whose 2 children died in the accident.

In addition, organizations such as the District Police, Nam Can Border Guard Station, Party Committee, Commune Government and other organizations also came to express condolences and give money to support the victims' relatives.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, the tragic accident occurred at around 5pm on January 12 in Nam Can Commune, Ky Son District, when a truck drove down a slope and crashed head-on into a family’s grocery store. At the time of the accident, the victims were standing in the grocery store. As a result, the accident claimed the lives of 6 people.
