Decree 168: Fines of up to 10 million VND for motorbikes.
According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, effective from January 1, 2025, violations related to motorcycles are subject to a fine of 10 million VND for the vehicle owner.
The fine applies to owners of motorcycles and mopeds.
Clause 10, Article 32 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulates a fine of VND 8-10 million for individuals and VND 16-20 million for organizations that own motorcycles, mopeds, and similar vehicles and commit the act of handing over or allowing unqualified individuals to drive them on public roads.
This violation includes cases where the driver has a driver's license but it is currently suspended.

The fine applies to drivers of motorcycles and mopeds.
Currently, according to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, traffic violations by motorbike drivers carry a maximum fine of up to 10 million VND. Below are some violations with high fines.
A fine of between 8,000,000 VND and 10,000,000 VND will be imposed.For drivers who commit any of the following violations:
a) Driving the vehicleswerving, weavingon the road;use the kickstandor other objects scraping against the road while the vehicle is in motion;
b) Driving the vehicle successfullygroup of 2 or more vehiclesexceeding the speed limit;
c)Causing traffic accidentsFailing to stop the vehicle immediately, failing to preserve the scene, failing to assist the injured, failing to remain at the scene, or failing to report immediately to the nearest police station or People's Committee;
d) Driving a vehicle on the road while having blood or breath alcohol in one's system.alcohol concentrationExceeding 80 milligrams/100 milliliters of blood or exceeding 0.4 milligrams/1 liter of breath;
d) Failure to comply with the requestalcohol concentration testof the public official;
e) Driving a vehicle on the road while under the influence of a substancedrugorstimulantOther uses that are prohibited by law;
g) Non-compliancerequest for inspectionRegarding the use of narcotics or other stimulants prohibited by law by law by law enforcement officers;
h)Sitting behind, wrap your arms around the person in front to control the vehicle., except when carrying children under 6 years old sitting in the front seat;
i) Driving in a convoy causingobstructing traffic, except where authorized by a competent authority;
k)Using the horn, revving the engine (making loud noises with the exhaust pipe).Continuously in densely populated areas and areas with medical examination and treatment facilities, except for priority vehicles on duty as prescribed.

A fine of between 10,000,000 VND and 14,000,000 VND will be imposed.For motorcyclists involved in traffic accidents who commit one of the following violations:
Driving without observing traffic, slowing down, or stopping to ensure safety as required, resulting in a traffic accident;
Driving at excessive speed can cause traffic accidents.
Entering the highway, stopping, parking, making U-turns, reversing, overtaking, changing direction, or changing lanes improperly can cause traffic accidents.
Failing to drive in the correct lane or maintain a safe distance between vehicles as required by regulations can cause traffic accidents.
Entering a road with a sign prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle being driven, driving against the flow of traffic on a one-way street, or driving against the flow of traffic on a road with a "No U-turn" sign can cause traffic accidents.
