Domestic buffalo 'turns against its owner,' sending a couple in Nghe An to the hospital.
A couple in Chau Loc commune, Quy Hop district, had to be hospitalized after being hit by a "mad" buffalo.
On January 17th, the People's Committee of Chau Loc commune, Quy Hop district, confirmed the incident.
Specifically, at around 9:00 AM on January 15th, Mr. Sam Van Son (born in 1977), residing in Khuc village, Chau Loc commune, led his buffalo out of the barn.
While leading the buffalo out of the barn, it suddenly ran away, dragging Mr. Son along with it, causing him to bump into the gate and fall. Seeing this, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tu (born in 1980, Mr. Son's wife) ran out to help him, but the "treacherous" buffalo continued to gore her, sending her flying onto the road.
"After the incident, my mother suffered four broken ribs, and my father sustained minor injuries," said Mr. Son's daughter. Currently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu is hospitalized for treatment.
