To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Quang Ninh province will have 11 fireworks display locations (2 high-altitude and 9 low-altitude).
1. Location for high-altitude fireworks display
The total number of high-altitude fireworks is 6,000 (600 fireworks per location, across 10 sites).
- 30/10 Square, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City.
- Mong Cai City Central Media and Culture Square.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
2. Location for low-altitude fireworks display
- The area around the Cau Bac Luan II Border Gate, Mong Cai City.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 23:00 to 23:15 on January 28, 2025 (which is the night of the 30th of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake).
- 12/11 Square, Cam Tay Ward, Cam Pha City.
- The park lake is located in Thanh Son and Quang Trung wards, Uong Bi city.
- The central square of Dong Trieu City.
- Underground bridge in Tien Yen town.
- The Ha Quang Voc monument, Dam Ha town.
- Ao Tien International Port, Ha Long Commune, Van Don District.
- Landscaped grounds along the Ha Coi River, Hai Ha.
- December 25th Square, Binh Lieu town.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
The Provincial People's Committee requests that the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities take the lead and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to prepare the necessary conditions for organizing fireworks displays in their localities in accordance with regulations and ensuring absolute safety. The funding for organizing the fireworks displays will be mobilized from social sources, not from the State budget, and will be raised by the districts, towns, and cities themselves.
At the same time, the Provincial Military Command is requested to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, the Provincial Police, and relevant units to organize and carry out fireworks displays in accordance with the regulations in Government Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020, on the management and use of fireworks, ensuring security, order, and absolute safety.
