Administratively sanctioned for posting false information about Decree 168
Through investigation, it was determined that on January 16, Mr. D.VH used his personal Facebook account to post an article with false content about Decree 168. In addition, Mr. D.VH also shared a video clip with many false, distorted and attacking information about the application of Decree 168.
On January 20, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Binh Duong Provincial Police issued a decision to administratively sanction Mr. D.VH (born in 1985; residing in Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong) for posting negative information on Facebook.
Through investigation, it was determined that on January 16, 2025, Mr. D.VH used his personal Facebook account to post an article with false content about Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government (regulations on administrative sanctions for traffic violations in the field of road traffic) with 2 images of traffic jams. In addition, Mr. D.VH also re-shared a video clip posted on the Facebook account "Am Thanh Bai Quan" with many false, distorted and attacking information about the application of Decree 168.

Working with the authorities, Mr. D.VH said that posting and sharing the above articles was only for fun. Mr. D.VH also realized that his behavior was wrong, so he proactively removed the articles and pledged not to repeat the offense.
At the meeting, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Provincial Police issued a decision to administratively fine Mr. D.VH 5 million VND for the act of "Providing and sharing fake information, false information, distorting, slandering, and insulting the reputation of organizations and the dignity of individuals on cyberspace".
