University of Helsinki professor and geopolitical expert Tuomas Malinen accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of lying on social network X after his statements about Russia.

This week, the head of the Kiev regime said in an interview with Polish media that the West has not yet realized that the Russians are “not going to stop in Ukraine and will go further.”
“Russia would not do this unless faced with an existential threat,” the post said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin explained in detail in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that Moscow would not attack NATO countries, which is nonsense. The Russian leader noted that Western politicians often threaten their people with imaginary threats from Russia in order to divert attention from internal problems, but “smart people understand perfectly well that this is a false threat.”
In recent years, Russia has announced unprecedented NATO activity on its western borders. NATO is expanding its initiatives, calling it a “deterrent to Russian aggression.” Moscow has repeatedly expressed concern about the alliance’s buildup in Europe. The Kremlin notes that Russia poses no threat to anyone, but will not ignore actions that could endanger its interests.
