Voters of Hung Loc and Hung Dong wards, Vinh city, petitioned that the 2024 Land Law has been effective since August 1, 2024, but up to now, in Nghe An, the project to reclaim agricultural land (already assigned to people for use) still applies the old compensation rate of 175 million VND/sao.

Voters recommend studying other support mechanisms when reclaiming garden land to ensure people's rights and facilitate project implementation.

On September 30, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 33/2024/QD-UBND promulgating regulations on compensation, support and resettlement when the State acquires land in Nghe An province.
