The salary of left-back Patrick Dorgu at Man United has just been revealed, surprising many people.

Accordingly, the 20-year-old star, valued at £25 million, receives a salary even lower than that of the team's third-choice goalkeeper, Tom Heaton.

Dorgu made his debut for Manchester United at Old Trafford before the club's defeat to Crystal Palace. Despite high expectations, Dorgu arrived at Man United as one of the lowest-paid first-team players, signing a five-and-a-half-year contract worth £40,000 a week. This salary is significantly higher than his previous earnings, but in a squad full of stars, it remains modest compared to his colleagues. Only Altay Bayindir and Kobbie Mainoo earn less than Dorgu. Bayindir, who is the reserve goalkeeper, and Mainoo, who is in negotiations for a new contract, earn £30,000 and £10,000 respectively.

Meanwhile, third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton is reportedly earning £45,000 per week. Alejandro Garnacho earns £50,000 per week, still significantly less than Jonny Evans (£65,000 per week). However, more noteworthy is that Man United have freed up a considerable amount of wage bill by loaning out Marcus Rashford and Antony, with Aston Villa paying the majority (at least 75%) of Rashford's salary (£325,000 per week), and Real Betis paying 84% of Antony's salary (£200,000 per week).
