The schedule for the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025-2026 school year has been finalized.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has officially announced the schedule for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, which will take place on June 6-7, 2025. Candidates will take three subjects: Mathematics, Literature (120 minutes), and Foreign Language (90 minutes).
Accordingly, Official Letter 462/SGDĐT-KTKĐ of 2025 clearly states the schedule for the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 as follows:
- Exam dates: June 6th and 7th, 2025.
- Number of subjects/exams: three subjects including Mathematics, Literature (120 minutes/subject), and Foreign Language (90 minutes).
- Candidates applying to specialized high schools in the city must take a fourth subject (specialized subject) with a time limit of 150 minutes per subject.
Each specialized subject has its own exam based on the secondary school curriculum, with content designed to select students who are gifted in that particular subject.
