'Superstar' driving motorbike and posting on social media fined 13 million VND
Authorities have verified and strictly handled a case of a motorcyclist violating traffic safety regulations through images posted on social networks.
Previously, on social networks, images and videos were circulated of two young men riding a motorbike without helmets, in which the person sitting behind put his arm around the person sitting in front to drive the motorbike on a road in Viet Yen town. Faced with this dangerous behavior, Viet Yen town police quickly took action to verify.


As a result of verification, Viet Yen Town Police identified the driver of the motorbike with license plate 98K1-258.99 as Nguyen Van T. (born in 2004, residing in Dong Lo Commune, Hiep Hoa District, Bac Giang Province). Viet Yen Town Police invited this case to work, temporarily detained the vehicle and made a record of administrative violations against Nguyen Van T. totaling 13 million VND for 4 acts: Not wearing a helmet when driving a motorbike or scooter; carrying a passenger sitting behind without wearing a helmet; sitting behind with arms around the driver to drive, causing danger; not having a driver's license as prescribed.
