Prosecution, criminal detention of Lexus car driver who beat male shipper
The Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District Police (Hanoi) has decided to prosecute and temporarily detain the Lexus car driver who beat a male shipper, causing public outrage.
On the evening of February 11, a representative of Tay Ho District Police confirmed that the Investigation Police Agency had issued a decision to prosecute the case and temporarily detain Tong Anh Tuan (born in 1982, residing in Phuong Liet Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi), the driver of the Lexus car, to investigate the following acts:"Intentional injury".

Speaking to reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Khanh, Head of Tay Ho District Police, said that as soon as he received the information, the unit sent officers and soldiers to actively verify and investigate the matter.
"In just a short time, the police agency has stepped in with determination to investigate the case as quickly as possible, with the right person and the right crime," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Khanh.
Previously, at 7:30 p.m. on February 10, Mr. Le Xuan Hung (born in 1994, residing in Tu Lien ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi) filed a report about being beaten with his feet, a knife, and a helmet by a man driving a 5-seat Lexus car, causing injuries at 12:30 p.m. the same day, in front of house number 41B, alley 50/310 Nghi Tam (Yen Phu ward, Tay Ho district).

The Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District Police quickly directed forces to conduct an investigation to clarify the incident.
Through investigation, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District Police identified the Lexus driver who beat Mr. Le Xuan Hung as Tong Anh Tuan. At 2:00 p.m. on February 11, Tong Anh Tuan turned himself in at the Tay Ho District Police headquarters, confessing his crime.
The cause was just a small traffic collision but a conflict arose and led to Tuan hitting Mr. Hung with his feet, hands, and helmet, causing injury.
The Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District Police is continuing to investigate the incident.
