Mr. Mai Van Chinh and Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung were elected as Deputy Prime Ministers.
At the 9th extraordinary session held this afternoon (February 18), with 448/448 delegates participating in the vote, the National Assembly passed a Resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.
Accordingly, the National Assembly approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Deputy Prime Ministers to Party Central Committee member, Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization Mai Van Chinh and Party Central Committee member - Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung.
At the same time, with 456/457 delegates participating in the vote in favor, the National Assembly passed a Resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Ministers for the 2021-2026 term, including: Minister of Construction for Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Science and Technology for Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Agriculture and Environment for Mr. Do Duc Duy, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions for Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung.
